Return it for a replacement through the retailer. Shit happens, as do defects, unfortunately. They bother me a lot too.

I can empathize. I bought an aqua shift controller today & there was like wood/cardboard pulp in the grips lol. Feels like build quality is all over the place these days. All the cosmic purple Dualsense controllers had to be recalled for lead paint lol. Since the controller is like $110 on a bad day, I'd just take it back and ask for a new one. Worst that can happen is you're stuck with the scratch

I know it’s annoying to see your brand new controller not to be perfect which you bought with your hard earned money. But personally I would ignore it or try return it if it is possible. Cheers

UPDATE #1: My dear subredditors have decided to downvote me and tell me that I have problems.
As you can see, it's clear plastic and the whole point of making this thread is to ask if you can repair that little mark right on that logo with good old tricks for maintaining plastics. This is straight out of the box that mark.
Also, I'm very sorry if you've been personally offended with the fact that you have to zoom a bit.
It's a shame it had to come to this point.. Utter disgrace.

Hey everyone. So I bought a Series X controller for my (original) Xbox One recently and out of the box it had this small mark on that X logo (as you can see at the picture above). Exactly the same scratch my white One S controller has, which already had that out of the box.
If you excuse me, I'm a guy who loves aesthetic looks and that scratch kinda annoys me. Is there a workaround on this and have you ever experienced that small scratch yourself?

What I meant, this is so so small. Almost any issue would be more important / bigger than this.
