Review:

This book does not pick up until the very end. Up until Chapter 16 (the final one), making it a boring slog. They attempt to add some drama with the whole Vince and Ivy thing, but it’s so basic and mundane. Like, we know Vince is a bad guy, and we know their marriage is a complete sham. Omar was insufferable in this book, even more so than the last one, and yet my M/C magically forgives him by the end? Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous. Derek, Adam, Mackenzie, and Jen are so boring, especially in this book. They blended together so much, which honestly was true for every character besides M/C, Vince, Ivy, and Slater/Bianca. I was so happy to leave Derek for Slater in the end, because at least Slater has a personality. However, the final sex scene with Slater was so lame. We didn’t even get to take off our clothes, and it never went beyond foreplay. Boring. That’s honestly the word to describe this whole book, boring. A terrible end to a series that had so much potential. One point in its favor, however, is that this is the only book besides Endless Summer, Book 3 in which male M/C can get married. Regardless, this book is disappointing. All of the fun aspects of Books 1 and 2 are gone, in favor of a boring, bare-bones wedding book. And don't even get me started on male M/C's wedding outfit, because what in the grandma's curtains is that travesty?!

P.S) Ivy felt so weird in this book. She kept flip-flopping from being a nasty bitch to being someone you felt bad for, and the whole thing with her mother, Vince, and their (verbal) abuse of her was so unexplored. Her romance with Carson also felt kind of out of left field. I don't know why her character stood out to me that much, but she was just written so...bizarrely.
