How is that a scam? All coupons at all stores are designed to get customers in the store. If you were already planning on buying a larger item, or have some odds and ends to get, cool. But if not, that doesn't make it a scam.

I was having an issue with a 15% off coupon I got last week. I could see the coupon in the email in the Gmail app on my phone, but not in the browser on my computer. Luckily, that's where I needed it to use it in the store.

Even with this crazy inflation it's hard for me to get a cart worth $100. I usually just pick up consumables anymore. Icon is out of my price range and their power tool ecosystems suck compared to any of the big brands.

My last thing around $100 was the Maddox cooling system pressure tester as a quote unquote professional I've used it idk maybe 50 to 75 times in the last two years, and it's been great.
But yeah $100 is a weird price point, like the Hercules miter saw is totally awesome, but it's 3x the target price

It's just a common bait-and-switch tactic get you to come in the store. You don't have a coupon but you buy the stuff anyway.
