📣 Public Service Announcement

Hey everyone,

I’m not able to pin this as you’re only allowed two pins at once so this may get berried but thought it best to bring awareness to this nonetheless.

We’re getting a lot of reports about individual comments and I just wanted to post a quick message. As you’ve no doubt seen, the subreddit is being absolutely slammed with negative posts left, right and centre. This is fine so keep doing what you’re doing as I’m not here to censor or deny anyone their opinion and freedom of speech.

Feedback is valuable however with that said, if you could please refrain from hostile comments and unnecessary aggression towards one and other that would be very much appreciated. I understand this will probably fall on death ears (as there’s always certain individuals in today’s society who will ‘troll’ or show hostility for no reason) but please be mindful of others.

I have been lenient with certain rules simply because it’s launch day and you’re all entitled to vent. However I will be clamping down on low effort / rehashed posts very soon as they’ve now been addressed. At the end of the day we’re all here for one reason and that’s to try and enjoy CrossFireX to the best of our abilities despite the issues.

Thanks, a lot of the subreddits for more high profile titles are run by powertrippers, who can stand no criticism of their fave franchise.

 
As for the more aggressive posters, you can always do a shadowban for starters. I've seen at least one who needs to get on with his life and stop obsessing over how bad he thinks CFX is.

Everyone else I see are mostly very fair in their criticism, and there is a lot to be critical of, but that guy is just unhinged.

The game might not be that fresh, but at least the sub is legit. Unlike some. Cough!SaintsRowCough!

Try to create a megathread for complaints, instead of everyone creating a low-effort post just to say the exact same thing again and again. People need to stop spamming this sub

While I agree that trying to reduce low effort posts is a must, technically speaking the feedback megathread should be the place people go to post their frustrations but sadly this isn’t the case despite it being in plain view.

If I were to manually review each post being submitted I would be dedicating my life to doing so every minute as a lot of individuals have their own views and opinions.

As it’s launch day I’m being lenient by letting everyone air their positivity and frustration and just taking action via reports. I defiantly will be enforcing certain rules so the subreddit doesn’t just become cluttered with negativity.

Appreciate you guy taking the time to address the sub. It would be nice to have a feedback flair so genuine ideas to improve the game can be easily flagged by the devs.
