Playing Through Every Choices Book, In Order (Part 15: Bloodbound 3)
Hello! Sorry for not posting a review yesterday - I was busy all day and couldn't find a chance to do so. I'm back today though, finishing off the Bloodbound series. After this, we tackle The Crown and The Flame, since Crimes of Passion is not available to non-VIP players yet!

Review:
I so desperately wish I could give this book a perfect score, but I can’t, because I stand by the fact that this series is needlessly genderlocked. Other than that, everything else about this book is fantastic. Rheya is such a menacing villain, and the scope of her power is truly terrifying. The twist that M/C is actually related to Rheya was very well done, and something I didn’t see coming. Lily dying was such a poignant scene, and I’ll freely admit that I cried a little at it. I know some people seem to not like her, but I thought Lily was a fantastic friend and a great character (and a great LI too, I’m sure, for those into women!). Her death was so tragic, and it came so suddenly too, like in the second to last chapter! Knowing that my beloved Jax could have been the one to die is just tragic. I liked learning more about Gaius in this book, and that he wasn’t a monster for no reason. Also, M/C as a vampire is so freaking cool, and I sorely wish I had gotten to play as a guy. The hookup/sex scenes were good as always, and I particularly enjoyed the final scene with Jax, which got surprisingly explicit for a pre-The Nanny Affair book. All in all, a fantastic book, with so much tension throughout its crazy. It would have received a perfect score if not for the arbitrary genderlocking. The whole “Bloodkeeper is passed down through the girls of the family” is nice and all, but it could easily be tweaked to include guys. Still, a great book, and overall a series I highly enjoy. The lore, world-building, and characters/LI’s are all very well done.
On a side note, I wish Adrian and Kamilah were options to die in Chapter 15 as well. It would make the whole thing that much more tense, emotional, and dramatic.
