Woman questioned in real Leviev smuggling case jumped to her death

I’m Israeli and I worked near the real Leviev offices in the bursa (diamond exchange). It was briefly mentioned in the doc about a woman killing herself; “Simon” talked about it to prove he has enemies (or something like that). I remember when the woman jumped from a building because it happened near my work and there was a huge commotion in the area, of course. Everyone who talked about it instantly understood when we found out that she worked for the real Leviev. The family has had scandals around their name, so why that “Simon” idiot thought that was a good family name to latch on to, I’ll never know. Maybe getting actual diamond smugglers pissed at him for using their name/company as an alias is actually a scheme to get REAL enemies who might actually come after him so his stories seem more real.🤯

I think the whole opposite.. I mean: Leviev as I saw is a close friend to Putin, Trump, Abramovich and other really important and powerful people. I think he and his family have their asses well backed up, I don’t think anybody would ever have the audacity to touch Putin’s close friend unless they don’t want to disappear like people in Argentina in 1978

Leviev’s enterprise would hire couriers who packed the diamonds into condoms and then inserted them into their bodies, the Hebrew-media Ynet website reported last week citing details from the case. Donning suits, they posed as businessmen and managed to pass Israel border control without raising suspicion.

Damn, the woman jumping out of a window is a thing that actually happened? I was living in blissful ignorance thinking it's another one of his made-up stories.

Disgusting he used a real human being's actual death to sell his bullshit. But why am I even surprised anymore at the new lows this guy can sink to?

Maybe Simon didn’t lie, I think he knew the woman from the diamond place. Remember in the movie he was trying to up Cecile’s credit and they processed her through the system stating that she made $94,000 a month? She also had proof to show American Express and that’s when they increased her credit line. I think that lady that killed herself knew Simon and the company found out she was committing fraud. Hence, she committed suicide.

“Simon” had absolutely nothing to do with the woman jumping to her death. Read the article. It was a real Leviev son’s diamond smuggling investigation that she got caught up in. The liar just used this story to “validate” his bullshit. Don’t twist the story and get other people thinking more bullshit, too, please. The deceased deserves a bit of respect after her horrible death.

Yeah I heard that even if he was a legitimate Leviev son - it's not the family you want to be associated with. The consequences could be much more dire.
