Is he going to make them kiss?
More importently, are we gonna get unit 01 standing above a knocked out Godzilla, jerking it's robo penis and splashing LCL?
The term "hero" being used very loosely here for a few of them.
Fuck it, I'll watch Shin Ultraman.
This is a very weird way to go about announcing a couple more Hideaki Anno films though, that I'm sure will generate both more hype and disappointment than is warranted. For anyone not able to click through right now this announcement boils down to a release date for Shin Ultraman (May 13, 2022) and Shin Kamen Rider (March 2023).
Important to stress, I think, that this isn't some big crossover film or anything.

I have zero idea how any of this would work together, but I’m confident that he does.
Screw it...I don't care if I can't understand it or am not even an Ultraman fan....I'm gonna see it in theaters.

Those writers are going to have their work cut out for them. Like how are they going to connect all of this stuff? Like the one thing everyone forgets about the MCU is that it’s not built off of a series of disparate franchises. It’s source material was one whole universe to begin with.
dangerously based
It's not a cinematic universe. It's a marketing line. Products. Toys. Things like that.
Ready Player 2
I never thought Id see the day when Evangelion is considered more of a Japanese superhero than Super Sentai.
Quiet desperation is the most Japanese thing there is. Shinji is practically their Uncle Sam.
I'd be weirdly down for Shin Super Sentai.
