My 1099 still isn't appearing in app, with a due date of Feb. 12

Official Response

When I navigate to the tax forms section, I see the following for 2021: "Check back 2/12/22 for updated availability info." It's now two days past, and it's the last form I need before filing my taxes. How can I obtain my 2022 1099? Previous years are available, and I've restarted many times over the last 2 days. Thank you

Hi there, u/FrackGoose,

Fidelity is working hard to prepare tax forms and post them online as soon as possible.

IRS regulations designate the delivery deadline for initial 1099 tax statements to be February 15 each year; however, Fidelity files for an extension with the IRS that allows for an additional 30 calendar days to provide 1099 tax reporting forms.

Some companies have a history of restating the tax qualification of dividend and capital gains payments. These restatements require Fidelity to provide corrected 1099 forms for impacted customer accounts. By taking advantage of the IRS extension we receive, we are able to ensure that your 1099 tax information is being reported correctly the first time. This assists in preventing you from having to file amendments to your return, which can cost additional fees.

In addition to pulling up your tax forms on the mobile app, you can also access your tax forms on our website. Simply log on, navigate to "Accounts & Trade," then click "Tax Forms & Information."

Mine also was pushed to 2/26, frustrating as it is the last form I need to file.
