my french valentine
my partner and i started learning french at the beginner/intermediate level and i'd like to write her something for valentine's day.
my attempt follows and any help to improve the language is appreciated. of particular interest: what is the difference in french between "we call each other" and "we call ourselves"?
thanks for any time you can give me!
========
in the beginning, we called each other "vous" and you were the cute woman who drank tea with me
then we called each other "tu" and you moved in with me into the place we found
now we call ourselves "nous" and we tie our lives tighter with every day we wake up together
