How long are you letting it cure between coats/handling?

Paints used?

Also will likely get removed as this is better for QA thread.

Usually a few min between coats but I wait a day before handling to let dry.

Is Q/A another tag or another subreddit?

This may not be enough time depending on paints.

if this is the kit you mean and are useing these paints they are acrilic. I'm not familiar with them or their quality. I will say that it could be the paints. It's also possible that the lesser quality and any surface prep that was neglected will be more prone to cause the paint to lift.

Are you using a primer? And what's your surface prep routine?

The paints are actually magically brand (sorry for no link I'm on mobile) and they're acrylic. I've actually been using the matte medium from liquitex as a primer as well (probably not a good idea)

Should I be using rattle cans to prime instead? I feel like the solvents would help it adhere to the plastic. Is there something I can airbrush as a strong primer?

Thanks for taking the time to respond, next project is recoloring 2 shadow wolf kits and this is gonna help a lot to ensure I dont make the same mistakes!
