Best Place in Thailand to Visit

Question

I want to hear your personal experiences on trips to Thailand!

Which region did you stay in/ where did you lodge/ who did you go with/ how long were you there etc… ?

I was awarded a $4500 travel voucher through work and am looking to visit Thailand!

Be sure to head north for the single greatest dish on the planet, Khao soi

I just looked it up! It looks incredible. Is there a particular place you went to have this?

Check out mark wiens video on khao soi. Took me to this place I never would have known existed for a bowl of pure bliss.

He’s got all kinds of food recommendations in Thailand that we used. Love mark wiens.

Best thing about Thailand is you can bounce around so easily. I moved to a different region every two-three days. I am a beach lover so I loved all the little islands I went to. Being able to explore them during the day was a highlight to me.

How did you get from place to place?

There's loads of travel agents in every area, you can book travel from your hotel reception in most instances.

LOL What do you get on, Del Boy?

The public transportation is pretty good. Cheap busses and trains connect pretty much every town.

The whole place is awesome. Very different in different regions. I'd go with an open mind and just go with the flow. You end up in some crazy places hahha

What’s a crazy place you’ve been to? Is it easy meeting people?

Well it's got lots of places. One particular that stands out was a full moon party on koh phangan.. I took a boat from the beach round to magic mushroom mountain and its literally another hidden set of bars that has all kinds of stuff for sale if you get me. Yes meeting people is super easy

The whole place is just epic. Amazing food. Cool beaches. Friendly people. Chill vibe. Party scene for night time. Can't go wrong.

We did 3 weeks Bangkok to Chiang Mai, to Railay Beach, koh Solk and The Jungle House and rode motorcycles on the Mae Hong Son Loop and stayed in a different little town each night. my Thailand trip

So many epic options. PersonallyI like koh phayam because it is well off the beaten path and it is unspoiled by tourists ( aT least it was when I was there 10 years ago)

Be sure to visti Chian mai, you can reach it from Bangkok using train, we bought tickets in advance using 12goasia

I wouldn't bother going right now due to their testing and quarantine rules for testing positive

Pai was a great place to visit back in the day, not sure about now. Krabi is really beautiful and so is Koh Chang.
