What to do next?

I just went through Zora’s domain and now I’ve moved on to Akkala and got the tower. I got a few shrines and am headed to the ancient tech lab. Should I stick around in Akkala and get all the shrines that are available to me now or move on to the next divine beast? I know there’s a lot of sketch lynels in Akkala but I’m not sure I’ll be able to beat them yet because I only have 5 or 6 hearts. I like how the game isn’t necessarily linear but how does everyone else usually play? My friend has the game and she decided to find the locations for the old photographs instead of finding the divine beasts.
