I think this is an “enhanced voice” mode, I’ve had this “feature” back at my plantronics backbeat pro 2, and it’s annoying as hell. To “turn it off” you need to not use the headphone’s mic

Every time I'm on a call the ambient mode turns on so I hear every door close, dish clank, and coworker cough. Even louder than without the headphones on!

The manual describe a double tap on the right ear as toggling ambient mode, but that gesture just prompts Siri to listen, which is also entirely useless.

Is there any way to turn off this "feature"?
