I’m 29 & single with 135k saved, what should I do with it?
Hello! What should I do with my savings? I make 160k a year and have pretty low expenses, living in Halifax but not sold on settling down here so real estate doesn’t seem like an appealing option right now. Stock market also seems quite bubbly so I’m a bit scared to put too much into my TFSA into ETFs or individual stocks. I’d love to see a stock market crash so I can get in at good prices, but feel like I’m missing out on potential gains by waiting around for this to happen. I contribute 10k a year into my RRSP (I put in 5k and my employer matches that). I feel like a doofus with over 100k in my day-to-day savings account. I like to have my TFSA contribution room open so I can strike when the opportunity comes but I’m tired of gaining only 1.5% interest on this money and paying tax on it. I save around 60k a year after all my living expenses, what should I do? :)
