Anyone else miss the cactus league?

I actually miss The Cactus League. The prizes for the top were…not good, to say the least. Definitely not worth going into a spending battle over 😅 But as someone who typically buys a season pass, I loved getting the extra XP each week.
Since it was competitive to the degree which you care about gaining XP, I decided to try to maintain whatever league I was in at the time. Which naturally lead to me playing more challenges: I set a goal to play at least half of the open challenges most days & if i wanted to do more I would. This kept me in the the safe zone for staying in the league & I was cranking through season pass levels.

Dunno! I know many people did not like The Cactus League but I was curious if anyone else actually missed it. I’ve been playing much less lately & the Cactus League motivated me to play more 🤷🏽‍♀️

The extra xp was nice... and the concept of a weekly group competition was good... but what it was based on was not. They should have taken the example of the biweekly competitions in Design My Room, where ranking is based on overall/cumulative star score... this would have given a more accurate representation of player performance and made for a more realistic competition.

I miss it! I especially miss the bonus XP.

I miss it, but I didn’t complain about it either. I just took whatever was free and ignored the rest. I hope they come up with something new.

I don’t miss it but I do wish I had all those damn autumn artworks unlocked after all that time.

Ohhhh extra XP - is THAT how people got through the levels so fast as well?

It definitely helped! More than I had realized because it's taking me much longer to get through the levels now that it's gone. There are some people who just play a lot- like, they will do every design and redesign with or without incentives.

No, maybe the xp, but no.
