Latest offer date
Is it possible to be offered an interview at this point? I want to submit my rankings but not sure if I'd be doing it prematurely.

Why not? I know I'm weak on paper so I'm not offended. If I get offered an interview at this point and the vibes are right I don't see why I wouldn't be down.

I'm about to extend an offer to two wait list candidates. We had one candidate scheduled for an on-site interview next week request to go virtual instead. Since we interview two at a time, and we don't mix virtual with in-person, I've decided to dip into the wait list. It isn't all that much more effort to interview a second candidate on the same day.
And I'm excited about this because we have some really good candidates on the wait list. It was a struggle this year deciding who was getting full interviews. I'm glad they'll be getting their shot.
