Microneedling potentially harmful?

I have stumbled upon the Naked Chemist's article about microneedling causing serious damage (inflammation, trauma, scars) in some people with sensitive skin, various skin conditions (ezcema,dermatitis), autoimmune skin diseases, people prone to Keloid scars etc.

Since I have a few of these concerns and I was planning to get microneedling done, I am now sceptical. Microneedling is being presented as a magical safe solution for almost every skin concern, so I would love to know if any of you had any bad side effects or know someone that did?
