Reminder to Check Your URLs

Finally got around to researching Anchor Protocol. A cursory internet search for their website yields an ad for a domain with a slightly different spelling than Anchor Protocol's actual website (in this case it was "anchorprotocoi" versus "anchorprotocol").
Out of curiosity, I checked it out and they basically copy/pasted their content to look identical. WHOIS showed redacted info for registration ("this is the way" for scammers).
This isn't some new strategy and honestly happens more often than you might think. Just a reminder to everyone to double check your URLs, especially when you are in the "discovery/research" phase of a new project and don't have bookmarks yet.

An extra minute to make sure things are safe is worth it to prevent losing everything!
This can't be said enough! Also, once you do find the official site, bookmark it. And as an extra measure, always check the certificate.
