New MirrorMat Theory
I don't know if it's been said before, but hearing the infamous prom video from Medina High School on GTnotLive today put this idea into my head.
Doesn't young MatPat sound an AWFUL lot like MirrorMat now?
Did MatPat, tired of having to outsource hired help for the channels, start playing around with cloning technology? Steph has the chemistry and lab experience to be a good assist on this project. Chris didn't leave like they keep saying... MatPat replaced him! And, who better to do the job than another MatPat!
We never get to see MirrorMat because he is a literal mirror image of MatPat rather than a perfect, younger copy. He was probably trying to one up Blippi for having multiple people playing his role but had to take it up a notch with science!
But that's just a theory... a cloning theory! Thanks for reading!

Something to go with this is, on some GTLive episode(forgot which), MatPat had mentioned how nice it would be to clone himself so that his clones could have taken over some of his jobs, this would mean that he has already done it, and will do it again.
It was hidden lore and we all missed it! He probably got the idea to clone himself from Wheezy Waiter...
