[2442] A Gift from the King

Hey All,

I thinking about this as an opening to one of my novels. It's essentially going to be a Beauty and the Beast meets Jekel and Hyde with a slight dash of Sleeping Beauty... only with two men, and my beast is very bloodthirsty, and my beauty is a young male slave.

My big question is whether or not people feel this is engaging/interesting enough of an opening for this type of novel.

Also, a related side question: Do you think this type of novel can have an appeal if there's only one sex scene, it's early on, and the rest of the novel revolves around the MC's struggle in dealing with emotions that are foreign to him and believing there's no way his slave could feel the same way?
