Why is the BL01 cable considered bad?

I recently bought the BL01 IEMs and am really surprised at the quality of them for the price. Whenever I see them mentioned people often talk of replacing the stock cable. What exactly is bad about the cable? Is it a visual thing more than a sound quality issue?
