Options for hanging posters on the wall without tacks or blu-tac?

I'm looking to buy some new, more higher-end posters and to put them up on my wall.

In the past I've used mostly blu-tac, and occasionally tacks. Though since these options either leave goo on the poster (blu-tac) or leave holes in the poster and wall, I was wanting to try a new option, one that neither damages the poster or the wall.

I have tried looking but I either can't find anything or can't think of the correct terms to search.

Any suggestions?

Poster frames can be quite inexpensive, would look nicer, and then command strips would be an option!

Yeah, I just thinking that myself, its a simpler option and can protect the poster from dirt and dust too. Better than trying to find some almost magical removable and non-damaging hanger

Yes! And it sounds like you want to invest in a couple you really care about, so it would definitely protect them from damage!

Command hooks?

I tried looking because I remembered they had some sort of removable wall thing, but couldn't see anything that could hang a poster, just hooks or things for picture frames

They are called command poster strips

Looking at those videos on the listing, it says not to use on wallpaper, and all my walls are wallpapered. Guess I can't use them.

As someone who hates “blu-tac” but also hates tacks more (not even for the wall’s sake, but more so a fear of one falling and being stepped on), I actually found a great solution for this.

I make those little inside out loops with masking tape/painters tape (sticky side facing outward) and stick them to all four corners of the poster, sometimes with 1 added to the centre of each edge if it’s a larger (and therefore heavier poster). I’ll stick the tape to my shirt or pants before I stick it to the wall as to make it just ever so slightly less sticky so that it doesn’t peel off paint upon removal.

Hope that made sense !

Paint 4 dots on the wall that coordinate with the corners of the poster with clear magnetic paint. Does that count as damaging the wall???? Then attach the poster to the wall with a magnetic at each corner.

There's magnetic paint?! I've never heard of that.

I'd prefer to not get paint on the poster. It'd just be fancy paper afterall

Yes, you can find it at a craft store. The paint needs to dry before you put the poster over it. It won't transfer to the poster.

I have wooden tops and bottoms on some of my posters. Of the ones in that picture I made one, and the other was from IKEA.

The one I made has magnets that hold the corners together, the IKEA one uses a clip.
