Our buds at /r/Devils have agreed to the banner wager.
Same deal as before with r/Penguins, should be fun. Flyers best win, I really don't want to have to look at Scott Stevens.

If the Flyers win the series Carcillo scoring an OT winner 2 years ago in the playoffs should be one of the pics.
Without a Doubt!
It's hilarious how much of a circle jerk they're having because they barely squeaked by the worst team in the playoffs. And its surprising how proud they are over that Stevens hit which was so obviously an intentional headshot. But Flyers fans are classless?
LOL

i read that and was disgusted. Hey guys! let's just celebrate an obvious intent to injure.
disgusting.
Wait a second, who the hell are you to judge us on a hit on the ice when you scumbag flyers fans beat the piss out of not only a cop but a vet simply because he had a Rangers jersey on. THAT was a disgrace. You didnt just bring the image of your team down, which honestly we didnt think your image could go any lower, but the NHL in general. Oh and by the way, what are you guys known for.....oh yeah thats right known as the "Broad Street Bullies".
No one seemed to mind that we were the bullies when we beat the soviets... You're welcome! Imgur
"What kind of respect do I get? ... Just because I'm a physical player, it's O.K. to come at me and do what you want? Hey, it's a hockey game. It's not figure skating. You know what? I can take a hit and I can give a hit. I don't care who it is. No one gets a free ride out there. I don't get a free ride, and no one gets a free ride from me." -Scott Stevens.
Not all of us Devils fans are "proud" of that hit. First off all it was a different time in hockey. Second of all yeah it was a cheap shot. Ill admit it. I dont go around saying "Remember that Stevens hit?!"
They did? I seen a post over there discussing it, and the majority seemed to not want in on it.
Yeah, it was funny seeing them justify the lack of confidence in their team.
Only Devils fan I know of http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_thaLQXXAwI8/SfHHKy2tSZI/AAAAAAAAAH8/r8btPRlWKkM/s1600/puddy_devils_medium.jpg

Because they know what's up...
Because it's the cup.
I'm less happy about this bet than the other. The shit with Pens' fans was all in good fun. I'm still earnestly bitter about Stevens' hit on Lindros. Fucking prick.
Great!! Good deal!
I hope this trend continues.
have they seen r/penguins yet?

No one wants to look at Stevens' mug, let's get real here. I doubt there's really much to worry about, anyway.
Devils fan getting his ass kicked by like 5 Flyers fans please

Devils Fans,Here is what happened to me at game 1 in phila in 2000 Eastern Finals. It was posted today by a flyers fan thinking that it's funny. I was injured and had to retire from a good job of 22 years that I loved!! It did bad damage to cervical discs 4-6.I got A Mental Disorder from it. I was attacked from behind.i did nothing except was there.I asked a security guard there to make sure we were safe.he said'No Problem"Im' in pain always and was put on narcotics.Thank God im' not taking them anymore.I live in Cherry Hill and go to almost all the games at The Rock. I used to go to 10 road games a year. Im' not in good enough shape to do that anymore.I been a fan since The Devils came to New Jersey.
Do you have to believe him? No, of course not. But realize there's a difference between trash talking about players, and cheering for physical violence against other fans. Don't support the stereotype so many people have of philly fans.
Boy are your faces going to be red when we establish our dominance.
This is the one and only time you make a deal with the devil(s)
