Another selfie trend?
We just had this a couple a months ago. Why revive it? Didnt think intp cares about what others thought, so i dont see the logic here. Kinda tired of it.

I can understand your point, and I can even agree with your sentiment, to a degree. Personally I’ve not uploaded a selfie or any image of myself here, but I can also understand why one would.
I also know that, while it is assumed all here are of the INTP personality grouping, not everyone shares a similar temperament to me, even in an in-group such as this subreddit. I also am aware that the scale of an INTP’s MBTI traits are varied, perhaps more varied than not, and therefore presents a number of individuals who are much closer to the middle of, let’s say Extroversion-Introversion, than you or I.
Also I am not sure I agree with the notion of “not caring about what others think.” I would re-phrase it, to better represent my own thought process, “not allowing the opinions of others to influence my investigation of objective truth, or tarnish my ability to properly apply critical analysis of any situation.”
Well that’s a bit more long-winded but I hope you see the difference. In any case, I’m far more inclined to let others do what they will. I, for one, won’t be uploading anytime in the near future, but I suppose others will. And I suppose that’s quite alright.

i may have been a little crass, but it frustrating to see almost the entire feed beeing just selfies. im more interested whats on peoples mind, not how their face looks.
i can agree with "not caring" was a bit of a broad and bad statement.
still dont understand this "fad" at all.

Just let people live their lives dude. I personally like seeing all these lovely faces. If you don't like it, you can just ignore the subreddit for a month or so or block anyone posting selfies.
Besides, most Intps I've met don't have the most confidence in their physical appearance. Let people have a chance to change that for a little while.
