Playing Through Every Choices Book, In Order (Part 25: Endless Summer 3)
Hey! I can't believe I'm already 25 books in! (28 counting the three books I've skipped for now)
Today, we finish up our vacation in La Huerta by...realizing we never existed?
Next time, we head to a private school for the children of politicians! What a prestigious institution! Sure hope there's no scandals or anything...

Review:
I won’t dwell on the obvious: this book was amazing, all the stuff I said previously applies, yada yada. What I will dwell on, though, are two things: the handfasting, and the 3 endings. Firstly, the handfastings. This is the first GOC book to have an option for male M/C to get married, and that’s insane to me. Getting handfasted/married to Jake was so fucking awesome, and the special sex scene that followed was phenomenal as well. Diego and Varynn getting handfasted as well was so cute! Next, let’s talk about the endings. Firstly, let me say I have never done Rourke’s ending, for I refuse to give Rourke the satisfaction of his plans ever succeeding. Vaanu’s ending is heartbreaking, as your M/C’s final words play while you get to see all the other characters living healthy, normal lives. I love it, but I was also bitter that M/C didn’t get to live. The Endless’s ending is also heartbreaking, but in a different way. Hearing all the characters talk about their families, and whoever else was important to them, and how they were all getting killed as we lazed away on a beach, that was depressing. But hey, in this ending, M/C gets to live, and I get to stay with Jake forever, so…as bad as it may sound, I prefer this ending to Vaanu’s, even if it is less morally acceptable. A gut-wrenching end to a marvelous series!
Side Note: The twist with Estela being Rourke’s daughter is so out of left field and I’m here for it.
