Poor bed adhesion and strange cold pull results on MK3S
I hadn't printed anything in a while because I was getting ready to move, then hadn't printed stuff because of the move. Had some weird bed adhesion issues despite soapy wooder and using isopropanol before each print (stock Prusa smooth PEI). The soapy water helped briefly, but even then I had some issues. That was back in October. Just didn't want to deal with it at the time and now I had the brilliant idea to do some cold pulls and see what happens, and the results are not at all what I expected, and I wonder if they might be related to my bed adhesion issues.
I had installed a nozzlex a few months before the move, but never had adhesion issues resulting from it that I can recall.
I am super confused about why it looks like I have two nozzles in both of the pulls, and the PLA one has such a bizarre, flat shape to it.

You aren’t doing cold pulls right, and I wouldn’t be looking into that anyway.
Your squish looks a little too close. But that model is also a bit of a pain. Try a little gluestick as well. Also you can up first layer temp to get a little more stick
Sorry for the late reply. I had previously printed several of the octopus models without issue, until I moved. Although looking back through octoprint it looks like they were done in PETG and not PLA.
I thought I had configured the PLA first layer temp to be 200/70C, but looking through the gcode it was actually 190/60. My guess is I had lost the filament preset I was using before and inadvertently used a similarly named one that I thought I had configured slightly differently, but had not. I'll try again with the higher temps when I get home from work tomorrow.
Definitely start at prusa defaults. 215/60.
This was hatchbox filament, and their suggested temps (180 to 220) are different than prusament (190 to 210), but I wonder if even these settings are not where they should be. Had some weird prusaslicer issue where stuff went missing upon reinstall.
But yes, I'll definitely be tweaking temps before trying again. I'll be rather upset if this is all it was (because I should've known to double check temps).
Thanks for your time.
I never start with the suggestion from the filament maker. I start with the prusa slicer default (which has separate prusament, branded, and generic selections). Prusa slicer defaults are tested on multiple popular filament brands. They used to list all the brands the preset was tested on in the notes, but it looks like they took the note out.
