What is it about the Standard Issue Cat that allows them to outgrow their littermates like this?

Tabby cats, espacially males are tend to be bigger because of their genetics. Also they are one of the most healthy domestic cat species.
Of and they literally fit perfectly.

Wow, I didn't know that.
My SIC is a big boy. Not fat or anything, he's just huge and built like a brick. Solid boy.
I think he's the most beautiful cat.

Mine too even without chubbiness. His head is huge. . my tortoiseshell cat looks small beside him.

My boy's mama is a calico and she is a tiny little thing. I dunno if she would've been tiny anyway, or if its because she got pregnant young. (little turd got out one day and came home pregnant. by the time we found out, she was pretty far along and the vet recommended we just let her have the litter and spay her after.) But she is a beautiful petite little kitty, while her son is like twice her size and built like a linebacker.

Plus I feel like the stripy coat makes them look bigger too! Black is slimming 😂

Are these two littermates??

Yup. Hard to believe because of the difference in size.

Well I really asked because I was just really hoping the one with the eyebrows was maybe a lost cat you found. He just looks so much like mine. :’( I had a hope he could be my missing cat.
I also have two from the same litter where one is huge and one is a beanpole lol
