Playing Through Every Choices Book, In Order (Part 33: The Junior)
Hey! Miss me? Today, we go through a very...high-profile junior year, as we deal with literal criminals actively seeking the downfall of us and our friends! (Did I mention these criminals are rich college fratority kids?)
Next time, we wrap up our time at Hartfeld, our time with this series, and my time being wasted on not being able to romance Zig as a dude!

Review:
This book is so different from all the others in this series. It’s honestly surreal. Like, this series went from slice-of-life type petty drama to straight up criminals actively targeting M/C and her friends? That’s a massive change. Is it weird to say I liked it though? Clearly this book was an attempt to remedy the sheer boredom of the previous book, and I think it worked, for the most part. The Alphas are almost comical to me in how cliche they are, but they make good villains nonetheless. Nathan being a juke-out LI if you’re single was a nice touch. Beau’s sprite is the origin for my beloved Ford from Queen B’s sprite, so I like him just for that, even if he is completely insane. Kassidy’s alright I guess - she was kind of easy to see through, but then again, none of the plot twists in this book were all that shocking. Tyler was a complete loser in this book omg, and he actually made me feel bad for/like Abbie, which is crazy. Like, he just stood there and let these people violently berate his girlfriend, and also participated in cruel, vicious pranks (albeit without him knowing the true extent of said pranks). Tyler was tolerable at best before, but in this book he’s just insufferable. Zig’s makeover is probably my favorite out of all the character makeovers - though Kaitlyn and Becca are a close second (Chris and James are just…travesties). Honestly, the drama throughout this book was great. Every chapter had some new things going on - it made the whole thing feel more fun to play. I kind of wish I played as single just to see what the Nathan scenes are like, but hey, it’s fine. I will say that the ending feels quite rushed, as Nathan is quickly taken down, and Beau and Kassidy are taken down off-screen, which feels like a cop-out. All in all, I liked this book far better than the previous one, and it might just be my favorite in this entire series!
And yes, I will continue bringing up the Zig injustice in every review for this series, because I'm annoying that way. LET HIM BE BI TO THE FULLEST EXTENT! #justiceforzigsbisexuality
