Scrying question.

What are everyone's rules when it comes to focusing your eyes on the medium (i.e. water, mirror) you're using?

Things I've heard:

• Stare as if you're looking through it, not at it

• Look into it

• Do not blink

• Blinking is fine

What works best for you? Or what is your advice?
