24 [F4R] Ohio/Anywhere - If you had to live in a YA dystopia pre resolution, which would you pick?

I think I would pick Pretties. If you've not read it, basically society selects people to be given plastic surgery at 16 and then they're happy and pretty forever. But the part of the universe I like best is that they don't have to worry about anything. They can have whatever they want from the society via acquisition wall and they have tons of friends and they're incapable of feeling stressed or sad or scared. Also free cosmetic surgery to do stuff like make your irises little functional clock faces or moving tattoos.

I could probably make an argument for most of them, though. Assuming we got to be the people who are oblivious, you could almost squint your eyes and believe in the greater good.

But you probably clicked on this to find out about me, right? Well, hey. I'm clearly bookish. I love literary things as a whole, and should I be physically able I'd love to be a librarian. I also like artsy things, and I do a lot of drawing. I used to write, but I'm struggling to find the emotional energy to anymore. I'm looking for friends, or people who want to talk to me about whatever. It's okay if you're just passing through on a lonely night. I'm lonely too.

I'm not the world's best conversationalist, but I'm good in a pinch. I love to talk to people. I think I'm a fairly good listener, and being of comfort to others brings comfort to me. It feels a little less lonely, makes the world a little more kind. So I hope I get to talk to you💗
