simulation? or god?
this might sound annoying but why is an argument made for the existence of simulation and not for the existence of god?

yeah true but you see, i have a problem with the theory of simulation
the theory says something like the universe is a very advanced technology , i mean there is definitely something to it , which is the universe so synchronized and well designed that is a good point , but i see that technology is specific to humans , its just a product of human mind, now someone may say that , you can make a simulation that is similar to the outer world , but the thing is you cant copy it completely , because we don't have enough physics to do that , and we will never have ,because we will never get to the theory that explains everything with 100% accuracy.

You don't need to copy it entirely, you only need to create a program with a defined set of rules that don't corrupt the programming and serve the end game, those are the rules we see set forth by physics, I used to think simulation theory was off because the level of detail we have is simply unnecessary, there's no reason to copy these traits in the simulation because if the inhabitants never experienced them they would never know they were missing, but it's the rules of physics that require it to be there because without it we would know something is off. IMHO the best argument i've ever heard for simulation theory is that the thing we should expect most from it is a universe that can be mathematically broken down into a base program with a predetermined set of physics rules, a set of rules that our universe follows indiscriminately, rules that seem to have only been broken in it's creation (installation/booting up of the program maybe?). We know that black holes are nothing but information dumps, the universe's setup seems to resemble how computers are setup, maybe we're the processor, dark matter the conduit, stars are capacitors, light is information and energy.

you see my problem with the simulation is that when you say that its a simulation you mean that its a derivative from a base reality , and i dont believe that ,i believe that this is the base reality bec thats how we view it perceptually , the fact that its full of realms of new facts and what we can know about it never ends . how could an entity who created this from nothing be someone relatable? you wana put the complexity of something like a universe in a box of something specific to human beings?

In my opinion, if you believe in a god, then you believe your in a simulation by default, thus in theory if you could prove the simulation, you could prove there is a god of sorts, so why don’t more religious people study science?
well when you say its a simulation then you say that the creator of it is relatable in the sense that he is limited like us , then its by definition not a god .
I guess I’d thought of it like one perhaps I was wrong
