Playing Through Every Choices Book, In Order (Part 37: Hero)
Hey! Sorry for the little hiatus - I was busy with a lot of stuff the past few days.
Anyways, today we take to the skies after touching a magic crystal that gives us superpowers! Sounds like something straight out of Marvel or DC, no?
Next time, we go back to high school and play through a series based off one of Pixelberry's other apps!

Review:
I honestly really enjoyed this book! Surprisingly, the whole “superhero” trope is not one that Choices has really done that much with, so this book is a nice rep for that. I adore how this book is GOC too, especially considering how early on it is in Choices history! The LI’s are all pretty great too - especially my beloved Kenji. My superhero name was “Moonshine”, by the way, because I bought that black costume and I thought it fit well lol. The story is pretty compelling, and it kinda fits the mold for your stereotypical superhero action show. However, being stereotypical in this scenario isn’t at all a bad thing - on the contrary, I really enjoyed how much this book plays into it! The villains are certainly intimidating too, and there’s not just one main villain, but multiple smaller ones too, which reminds me of shows like The Flash or Legends of Tomorrow. I will say that some of the diamond choices seemed a bit overpriced, such as the Grayson scene in Chapter 1, which is 20 diamonds for a barebones scene that doesn’t even have a kiss at the end. Another thing, and a common point I see brought up on this sub, is that this book definitely deserves a sequel, much like Distant Shores, but also like that book, we have confirmation that this book will never receive a sequel, which is really lame. All in all, I really enjoyed this book, and it definitely holds up pretty well even now despite being so early in the history of this app!
