Pros and cons to bite training? I’m not looking for a protection dog but wondering if it benefits the breed.

One side of me thinks bite training will encourage that reactivity but the other side of me thinks it actually helps to stop reactivity.

Kinda like teaching to bark helps to teach no-bark?

Does it just come down to structure and routine? Any warnings or advice before i do anything?

She’s only 12weeks right now and besides puppy biting, she’s just starting to tug a little. She does like to go after hands and arms and legs right now and wondering if bite training provides them with the outlet to redirect the nips and grabs. I’ve raised several large protection breeds in the past but never had a shepherd before and never tried bite work. Also don’t need this girl to be protection focused.
