Trivia

Based on the recent discussion of favorite recurring guest star, sort these characters in order of most episode appearances (no cheating now).

Ainsley Hayes
Bruno Gianelli
Joey Lucas
Mallory O'Brien
Percy Fitzwallace
Ron Butterfield

I had to make it a challenge with all you superfans out there, so they're all pretty close. There are no ties (they each have appeared in a different total number of episodes). I'll post the answer tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

I don’t think Joey did anything in that episode except appear sad in the church for one shot. Ainsley and Mallory both had speaking lines.

He is in 7 episodes - significantly fewer episodes than the characters I listed. I also didn't include some other characters because they had the same number of episodes as others on the list.

I was about to answer that it's got to be Fitzwallace. Then I remembered that Fitz -- *strikes tear from eye* -- didn't show up in the later seasons.

Not cheating so here’s my guess (most to least): 1) Ron Butterfield 2) Percy Fitzwallace 3) Joey Lucas 4) Ainsley Hayes 5) Bruno Gianelli 6) Mallory O'Brien

Reasoning: Picked Butterfield & Fitz because they're in several episodes a season across (mostly) all seasons. Joey makes a bunch appearances throughout the series. Ainsley was in several episodes, but only for a season or two. Bruno makes a few apearances but only around the two elections. And it seemed like Mallory only was on kinda rarely. I’m thinking maybe shoulda switched Bruno & Mallory?

Ok, wow. Just looked at the answer. Totally misjudged Bruno’s appearances - I thought he might be last and he was second! I also thought Butterfield was in WAY more often - it felt like he was just always there!

Fun exercise though. Thanks OP! 👏
