Need some lipstick pointers

[Makeup Help]

How do you get those nice sharp lines when applying lipstick? Do you need a lip liner or is there a way around it? What type of products are good (or awful) for this?

I'm new to the game. Any tips are welcome, even really basic ones.

In addition to liner, applying lipstick with a brush can make sharper lines.

If you don't want to use a lip Liner try your thinnest brush, preferably a lip brush and use it to make the edges.

I aplay lipstick and after pass the brush to define the edges when I want to use just a lipstick

I use a nail art brush for it's thinners and sturdiness. Lmk how it goes! :)

It’s a lot easier with a lip liner, I draw the shape I want and fill it in with lipstick.

sometimes i take a flat square shaped brush and use the tiniest amount of foundation to help clean up lines!

Lipliner for sure. Try NYX or LA girl cosmetics

Lipliner is easiest, but I've worked with a brush comfortably enough before. Any lipstick fits, though thicker liquid lipsticks won't work amazingly with a brush. I use this method to get my lips perfect, saw it once and never struggled after. :)

Use of lip liner is great.

You can also use lipstick brush for applying perfect lipstick.

After applying lipstick you can also clean and make sharp edges by applying concealer following the lip shape.
