[ATLA] Does Sokka ever get his space sword back?

Well if u/Sparky81 is to be believed, you could say the space sword did return like a boomerang.

It's possible he went looking for it eventually, but if so we haven't seen it yet. Present timeline in the GNs is about a year or two out from the end of the series at this point.

Nope; (headcanon beyond this point) they were over that giant swamp when it was dropped; there's no way he's getting it back unless the spirits will it.

Zuko's great at finding stuff. Team him up with Toph and I bet they'd find it relatively quick.

I belive in the comics, Toph goes out on a search and eventually finds it for him.
Edit: ok so there is a good chance that where I saw it was in a fan comic, but in an official licensed art piece, it shows an older Sokka with his sword back, so he does recover it at some point.
That hasn't happened in the comics (yet), even though for some reason people keep saying on the TLA subreddit they've read somewhere that it has.
Could have sworn i saw it in the comic myself. Maybe I need to re read
