Anyone else ocd about damaging your tools?

I find myself very ocd about how I use my tools and making sure I don’t damage them, for example, had a chrome trim piece with seized threads (plumber btw) and used my knipex to remove it damaging the teeth a bit, nothing major and I know my tools are what make me money so might as well use em but I just wanted to see if anyone thinks the same way
