Playing Through Every Choices Book, In Order (Part 40: High School Story 3)
Hey! Today we finish up our year at Berry High, and look forward to the next year...with an entirely different M/C?
Next time, we take control of this new M/C as they don't instantly make friends and become uber popular like HSS M/C. How will they survive?! And will they do good in the play?

Review:
Let me start by taking back what I said in Book 1, where I stated that Brian is someone that with full redemption I’d want to be a LI. Upon replaying this book, I remembered just how nasty he is, and I find myself wondering why I ever thought he’d be a good LI, even with total redemption. The way he treats Myra is just…so gross. I feel like the storyline isn’t properly closed either. He gets away with everything he did, and Myra just sort of gets over it, which felt unsatisfactory in my opinion. Oh Brian, why’d they have to make a nice-looking sprite into such a misogynistic, sexual harrasser of a loser? Anyways, the other Hearst kids are all really fun to interact with. Max and Kara are more cliche bullies than Brian, and as such they are more likable overall, especially for those that played their dates in the original app (which I did - I love you Max). Cameron is awesome, in that they are one of the very few examples of trans representation in this app, and I love that they are Aiden’s alternate LI, making Aiden canonically bi or pan! Also, Emma is canon bisexual, which was a nice addition! Jade is fun, and Tucker and Kieran are cute. Zoe’s redemption in this book was also nicely done, and her standing up to Brian for Myra’s sake is an awesome moment. Did anyone else not care about Autumn’s love life? I sure didn’t, and I made sure she ended up single, and I headcanon that somewhere down the line, Wes and Julian realize that they were never jealous of each other, rather, they were envious of Autumn for getting to date the other guy, and they date and are happy forever. The ending felt kind of rushed to me, but hey, that’s what Class Act is for, right? Right? All in all, this book was a fun ending to the trilogy, and let’s hope Class Act serves as a lovely conclusion!
