Waldo
Searching for you, I want to.
Seeking for you, I have to.
Skipping the details that aren't you.
Overseeing a moment in time, to find you.
Rushing, you aren't there.
Angering, that wasn't you.
Retracing, to find what I knew.
Panicking, hope is fading.
A freight train of pain, Washes over my brain am I insane? Why have you not popped into frame?
I've looked here, there, everywhere. I see now, this is a dare In order to see you, I must be you, Enjoying the moment in time to find you.
I found me, You left the key To set me free From how I used to be.
My reward, is moving forward. Enjoying the day Loving the here Embracing the now Thank you, for showing me how.

Hey, I think the poem flows very well other but "angering" feels like the wrong word to use in my opinion. But I do like the last couple of lines where you described the panicking and the next part of being hit with a train of pain. I also think the part of you explaining the other person being the key to being your new self was very well written. Overall I think the poem flows well other than that one word, and is really good and the title is unique
Thank you so much for your feed back. What word would you use? I am very pleased that you enjoyed it. Thank you for letting me know your opinion, and giving constructive criticism.
To be honest my vocabulary is not too expansive but I think maybe "enraging" could work but that depends on how you want it to turn out :))
I picked that word because the emotion of rage is something that was apart of me. I tried to remember who I was in younger days. Sometimes it's easy to forget who we were when we've done what we can to change. I even tried to write it as if I was the only me. Hmm maybe I'll start a poem today and end it when I'm ready to move on from this life. "I was here, now I'm not." Haha that was easy.
In the angering line, are you saying that the person did something that angered you but then you realized that wasn’t them? Or you thought they were angry when they actually weren’t? What is meant by the term ‘angering?’
So "angering" is the emotion I felt when I didn't get the result I wanted after putting in the work to get it. Like a child getting upset when it's bed time, or having to clean when they do not want to. I was a very angry person who let rage be the dominant emotion I expressed. So when I was trying to find Waldo I'd get mad, because I couldn't find him.
Ah, that makes sense now. Guess I just haven’t use the term ‘angering’ much before. I know it is a word, though, since ‘anger’ is a verb in addition to a noun.
