mobile pepwave device for streaming in an open area

Looking to live stream at an outdoor venue for a week and looking for a good bonded cellular modem. Is anyone doing this with the pepwave UBR LTE? The price point is decent. The transit duo's are more than double the price. I can't find much info on people using the UBR for live streaming. Quality would need to be 1080p 4.5mbps

I would expect that to work well as long as the cellular bandwidth is available. I have a balance 20x that I have used a very limited amount and it seems to also work well. Can you get a temporary high speed internet drop to your location?

No. It's in the middle of a field, with no chance of any internet drop, so it would have to be done with 100% mobile data.
Cellular data should be good hopefully.
I don't know if there is any benefits of the more expensive transit line of pepwave vs a UBR LTE for my use case

I think the only downside to that unit is that is is not 5g/4g limited bands. You could use a 5g hotspot that has Ethernet to the WAN port if you need access to 5g or different cell bands.

Cellular 1: B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B25, B26 UBR-LTE-US-T-PRM CAT-4 2 LTE Cellular 2: B12, B14, B4, B2, B5, B13,B66, B71

Do you know what the B2/B4 etc means?

Different frequency bands. Depends how the towers close to you are setup and what bands they are using. I’d give someone like 5gstore a call tomorrow and see if they can be of help

How far into the field? You could use point to point wireless so you have the whole frequency range to yourself and have a wired connection as a backhaul.

I do not have access to the location, so cannot tell if I have point to point. I just know that cellular single is supposed to be decent

How many people will be attending? Large crowds kill mobile bandwidth.

The UBR has the slowest modems in the Pepwave fleet. The extra cost of the DUO and MAX line is justified by the higher speed cellular modems.
