Should it always feel like there’s something there?

Hi. First time using menstrual cup. I’m using my country’s local brand. It’s quite stiff and has a short stem. Some info on me:

  1. I’ve never had vaginal birth, but has had 2 c-sections.
  2. I’ve never worn tampons, only pads. Because some say the feel is like wearing tampons, so I do not know this.
  3. I’m obese and short, 4’ 11”. Not sure whether this is helpful.

So of my questions are:

  1. Does it always feel like there’s something in your vagina?
  2. Does it feel like you constantly need to ‘hold’ it? Like it will slip out at any time?
  3. Does the tip stick outside of your labia? Or it needs to be fully inside of you?
  4. I think I’m wearing it wrong, but I cannot push it in any further.
  5. Sitting on a chair feels weird, and sometimes a bit painful. But sitting cross legged or on the floor is comfortable.

Please help.
