Looks awesome. See about getting the window kit for them. It enhances the look immensely. We are currently doing that to our collection. A little at a time spreads out the cost.

Neat! I saw somebody build one of these over in the Lego train reddit. I guess those bay windows help in the same way that roof top windows in allowing more views of the track/cars?

Yeah, with the advent of taller cars in the late ‘50s-early ‘60s, railroads began looking for ways to improve the conductor’s view of the train. Bay windows and wide-vision cupolas were the solution.

Found it tucked away in the back of the hobby shop. It came with cast metal roof details, and the original price printed on the box was $3.50.
