I went to use the small needle for my chicken yesterday but there was a weird cut in the needle where the hole for the marinade to come out is. The other two needles don't have the line so I think Maybe it could be a defective needle.

I didn't want to risk the needle tip being left in the chicken so I'm not going to use it, I used the longer needle and the chicken came out great. The family said the chicken was the best taste they've ever had in chicken breast prior to any sauce on it!
