What Does Faith Mean To You?

Hello everyone. Namaste 🙏

I am autistic and a philosophy/religion/theology student, but because my autism affects the way I understand language, I have always struggled to understand certain words.

One example of a word I struggle to understand is "faith" in a religious/philosophical context. I can understand it in a secular context e.g. I have faith in the government", but what does it mean in a religious way? What does it mean to you specifically in a religious/philosophical way?

Is it only Christians who use the term in the religious sense, or is it people with other beliefs too?

Thanks in advance for your explanations.
