Breeze Cart Battery

I have used these breeze pens for a bit now and my friends all like them. But I have now gone through two because they no longer hit. Instead, they blink right away if you even press the button and if you try multiple times it will shut itself off. I have never seen any batteries, no matter how messed up, do this. Is anyone else having troubles with these things?
