What elements do you want to see in a great magic show?

If you were going to make a checklist of elements required for your ideal magic show, what would they be?

For me, as a member of the audience, the list would start with a good variety of magic. Not just mentalism, not just cards, I want a mix of different premises and props and effects. Ideally, I'd love to see as many of the different kinds of magic effects as possible (I don't need every single one of Dariel Fitzkee's 19, but I'd like a good number). Secondly, I want to be surprised. I want to see something I'm not expecting, something I haven't seen before. Thirdly, I don't want to be insulted or belittled or watch other audience members be insulted or belittled.

I could probably keep going, but what do YOU think?
