Found this amazing concept mockup in the back of closet at the estate of a former Boeing/Lockheed engineer that worked on fighter jets. There was tons of aviation stuff there, but this one really caught my eye.

Looks like a supersonic or hypersonic missle concept. Design metrics change drastically from subsonic to supersonic and that looks like a supersonic/hypersonic lifting body design.

Very cool, that's good to know!

My guess is, it's part of the initial design work for what became AGM-129.

I can definitely see a resemblance in the design. There were stacks of declassified documents in the file cabinets of the office in the house with all sorts of design specs and blue prints, along with binders of files from several companies, so it stands to reason that they were involved in developing that sort of thing. Also, I love the seriousness of your answers contrasted with your username.

AGM-129 ACM

The AGM-129 ACM (Advanced Cruise Missile) was a low-observable, subsonic, turbofan-powered, air-launched cruise missile originally designed and built by General Dynamics and eventually acquired by Raytheon Missile Systems. Prior to its withdrawal from service in 2012, the AGM-129A was carried exclusively by the US Air Force's B-52H Stratofortress bombers.

Any tic tacs?

Haha, nothing as interesting as that - I only looked over them (and there were a lot) for a couple of minutes, and they all seemed to be design docs.

Whats its name?

Not sure - there is a signature on the painting, but it's not something you could glean a name from.

I’m sure there are some DIA people backtracking your account right now.
