[TOMT][MOVIE][1990s] a nuclear submarine and a government coverup in the arctic

Way back in the 90s (possibly late 80s) I remember watching this movie with my parents. It may have been a made for tv movie.

What I remember from it was something about a nuclear submarine that I think had crashed in the arctic or somewhere far north and was leaking radiation. There was a white female reporter or journalist who was investigating with the help of a native man. At one point while they're camping (or possibly stranded) they have to strip off their clothes and get in the same sleeping bag for warmth.

Another part I remember is that there was some man whom I think was a kind of informant or someone who was going to leak info about the sub. He had received a bad dose of radiation and was in the hospital when someone working for the government came in and squeezed his IV bag, causing him to have a heart attack.

Towards the end I think the native guide the women was with was shown to have radiation poisoning in a scene with him pissing blood in the toilet.

That's all I got. This movie has been bouncing around in my head for decades and I'd love it if anyone knew what it was. Thanks!
