PSA: Quality builds are almost never worth it in Elden Ring

tl;dr the Quality infusion results in far less damage per point spent on the damaging stat to ever warrant it as an infusion. The only time you should ever go to quality is if your weapon cannot be infused whatsoever. Heavy, Keen, Fire, and Lightning will always yield more damage unless you are a level 500 monster with 99 in every stat.

For example:

Quality Banished Knight Halberd with 34 STR 50 DEX (effectively 50/50 when 2h) - 629 AR

Heavy Banished Knight Halberd with 54 STR 20 DEX - 659 AR

People who have researched this more than me have not found a single weapon that scales better than quality.
