looking at getting one of these GIGABYTE GA-X99-UD3P

So I'm working at building a new system. Been wanting to do xeon with a gpu and Asus hyper M2 for cache drive So going to be 8 drives. Maybe 64gb or more ram I don't know yet. I was look at this motherboard GIGABYTE GA-X99-UD3P, but I keep seeing all these mixed reviews. Is this board any good at all Or just crap and need to rethink doing x99.
